This 10 week course will introduce you to the graphics applications Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.

Using Adobe InDesign you will be shown how the programme’s in-built menus and tools are used in the setting up of basic design templates.

InDesign layouts help you to design Flyers, Posters, Newsletters, Brochures, Stationery etc, for use in print media or as downloadable PDF material.

With Adobe Illustrator you will discover the tools and means to help create Logos or Individual Designs, as well as how to manipulate shapes and letters to create eye-catching promotional material for a multitude of different uses such as T-Shirt Graphics, Decals, Mugs etc.

You will also be introduced to the understanding of typography and its uses in everyday design and media.

Along the way there will be in-class projects which will allow you to explore the many applications of these programmes.
