This course is aimed at the established sewer and intends to build upon their knowledge base adding new skills or improving upon old ones. The creation of new garments or the recreation of old ones, gives the student the opportunity to express their creativity, whilst expanding their skillset and refining their existing abilities.

Possible areas that could be covered during the course, dependant on individual abilities:

-       Garment alterations. Basic garment alteration techniques; judging fit, resizing and repairing.

-      Commercial pattern dressmaking.

-    Embellishment & Embroidery.

-    Accessories creation: Detachable collars & cuffs, scarves, bags.
